I’ve used several blenders over the years, but most either can’t handle hot liquids or leave you with gritty soup. this one heats up fast and blends smooth. the self-clean works fine, and the noise isn’t bad for what it does. i set the timer at night and wake up to hot soy milk –no pot, no mess. one thing i learned the hard way: make sure the lid is locked tight, or you’ll get an e1 error. took me a minute to realize the lid wasn’t seated right. once it’s on properly, it works perfectly. really happy with this purchase. absolutely worth the money.
